Calibration, verification and certification of MET-UD portable combined hardness tester
Verification is carried out by FGUP "VNIIFTRI" specialists. For hardness testers, "Verification Certificate" is issued in duly authorized by the state form.
Calibration and primary verification on HRC, HB, HV and HSD scales is performed straight after hardness testers have been manufactured. Calibration on additional hardness scales HRB, HRN, HRT, HL etc., on tensile strength Rm scale and also on metals which are significantly different from steel (cast iron, aluminum and copper alloys etc.) is done free of charge based on customer request.
Hardness tester verification period is once a year. Verification can be performed in the Centers for Standardization and Metrology by any certified metrological service of legal entities having the permission to verify measuring instruments. Verification procedures together with Operational Manual are included in the hardness tester set of equipment. Optionally, customers can ask for verification directly by "MET" Centre for Physical and Mechanical Measurements. After the first year of operation, "MET" Centre for Physical and Mechanical Measurements carry out a free of charge adjustment of hardness testers.
All portable hardness testers and reference hardness test blocks of MET series have Certificates of Approval of measuring equipment type as well as licenses for production.
