Hardness reference test blocks (GOST 9031-75; 8.426-81)
It is strongly recommended to buy 2 reference hardness test blocks with MIN and MAX values of the used hardness scale range for periodic testing of the hardness tester readings and, if necessary, for its calibration.
Lapping fluid
It makes it possible to provide for a full contact of the tested article with the testing plate surface and conduct a correct hardness testing. Reference hardness test blocks and articles having the weight less than 3 kg shall be lapped to the testing plate surface (GOST 10905-86).
Battery operated grinder
Provides for an appropriate preparation of the tested area on the tested article surface.
It is an ideal supplement for preparation of rough, uneven, corrosive surface and welding seams in the testing zone for hardness tester probe.
